Green credentials

Here at Aberconwy House we believe that our planet, not just our beautiful National Park is precious and should be looked after in a responsible and sustainable way. We have approached this on several levels, from using green minded energy suppliers to refillable toiletries to the removal of single use plastic milk cartons, we are striving to lower our environmental impact in every aspect of our business.

We are constantly looking at ways to improve and now we provide refillable milk flasks for each room. We don’t provide plastic bottles of water as we have beautiful Welsh mountain water that is fresh from the taps in our rooms. We lower our food waste by asking guests to pre-order their breakfasts and we provide reusable water bottles for takeaways. We also provide recycling facilities for our guests use and we have changed our laundry and cleaning products to environmentally friendly options.

We are proud to be part of the Betws y Coed & District Plastic Free Community initiative which is striving to get businesses to lessen their environmental impact.
